Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and depend on the destination, weight, and size of the package. Typical rates are as follows:
- Standard UK Shipping: £3.99
- Express UK Shipping: £9.00
- Free UK Shipping: Available for orders over £50.
1.2. International Shipping
We offer international shipping to select countries. Rates vary depending on the destination. Any customs duties, taxes, or additional fees are the responsibility of the customer.
1.3. Delivery Promotions
Occasionally, we may offer free or discounted shipping promotions. Such promotions will be clearly advertised on our website.
2. Delivery Times
2.1. Processing Time
All orders are processed within 3-5 working days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
2.2. Shipping Time
Once dispatched, estimated delivery times are as follows:
- Standard UK Shipping: 2-4 working days.
- Express UK Shipping: 1-2 working days.
- International Shipping: 14-21 working days, depending on the destination.
Please note that delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed, as delays may occur due to factors outside our control (e.g., postal strikes, customs delays, weather conditions).
3. Order Tracking
3.1. Once your order is dispatched, we will send you a confirmation email containing a tracking number (if available). You can use this number to monitor your delivery status through the courier’s website.
3.2. If tracking information is not available, please contact us for updates on your delivery.
4. Missed Deliveries
4.1. Failed Delivery Attempts
If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to an incorrect address provided by you or because no one is available to receive the package, the courier may leave a card with instructions for redelivery or collection.
4.2. Uncollected Packages
If the package is returned to us after multiple delivery attempts or failure to collect, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. Additional charges may apply.
5. Damaged or Lost Items
5.1. Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt by contacting biteme@tarantulaarmy.co.uk with your order number and photos of the damaged item(s). We will arrange for a replacement or refund as per your preference.
5.2. Lost Items
If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery time, please contact us. We will work with the courier to locate your package and may issue a replacement or refund if the item is deemed lost.
6. Returns Due to Delivery Issues
If your order is returned to us due to a delivery issue (e.g., incorrect address, failure to collect), we will notify you. You may choose to:
- Arrange redelivery (additional charges may apply).
- Cancel the order and receive a refund, minus any delivery costs incurred.
7. International Shipping Notes
For international orders:
- Customs and import duties may apply once the package reaches your destination country.
- Any such fees are the responsibility of the customer.
- Delivery times for international shipments may vary due to customs clearance delays.
8. Legal Rights
This Shipping and Delivery Policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
If your order is not delivered within 30 days (unless otherwise agreed), you are entitled to cancel the order and receive a full refund.
